When enlisting in the Titan program, Ryder, being a head first kind of guy, had expected the best, but his horrid luck, and an overly prudent psychiatric evaluation stuck him in what he essentially considers as an overly glorified babysitting job taking care of the artificially intelligent computer, AiA.
However, as he is forced to spend more and more time with her, the more and more he realizes why he was entrusted with one of the most delicate of tasks on the Titan to begin with, and why it is he has to learn to just accept some things for what they are.
Orlando Martin | Life Support - Ensign | Agricultural Team
Life was never very hard for Orlando, especially his love life. When he enlists in the Titan program, to no surprise his luck remains on his side as usual. However as time goes by, and his list of romantic endeavors grows longer, he realizes after a disappointing work evaluation, that his priorities aren’t in check as much as he thought they were.
When he is threatened by a possible expulsion by the lead committee, he decides at last he didn’t come all this way to be his usual passive self, and promises to change his ways. However, if and when he does, will it be worth the effort? Or is he just happier being himself?

Nearly sent away because of his mother’s past, the only thing that saves him from being tossed in the rejection pile is an empathetic psychiatrist, who feels he is a perfect candidate for the Titan project. His sheer will to redeem his mother, being the reason why.
However, as he begins work as a communications ensign, he learns that maybe he wasn’t worth all the trouble to begin with, and almost gives into the thought of leaving. Until someone steers him in the right direction again, and helps realize why it is he needs to stay for himself, not just his mother.
Carolina Grogan | Engineering | Ensign | Satellite Repair Team
Carolina expected it all when she enlisted in the Titan Program, the thought of being surrounded by people from her same frame of mind all set in front of a backdrop of the space eluded her. Until she got there, and then she realized everything, sadly, was exactly the same.
The worst of it all was when she found out what she was doing, and it didn’t turn out to be the glamorous career she was expecting. Despite all this however, she comes to uncover the reason why everything remained the same was because she remained the same, and that her carefree attitude towards everything, despite her height; was keeping her below everyone else as opposed to at their same level.
Still, how does one muster up determination, when they don’t have any reason enough to have it?

Bio: Cassius St. James can’t remember anything before the age of 12 when he was found by the wealthy widow MaryEllen St. James. The only thing he remembered was his name, Cassius. Cassius showed little interest in typical activities of 12 year old boys, preferring to spend his time painting or creating different gadgets. By the time he was 14 he had created an automaton to cook him his favorite meal of peanut butter and fried banana sandwiches every day at exactly 1 pm. MaryEllen often found him up in the middle of the night tinkering with and upgrading different household appliances. She realized young Cassius had a knack with machines and hired him a private tutor. With his tutor he achieved high enough grades to attend Cal Tech, where he majored in mechanical engineering while also taking studio art classes at a local community college. Extremely talented as he is Cassius is also a bit… strange. Other than the cowboy boots he was wearing when he was found Cassius never wears bright colors. He rarely speaks, MaryEllen thinking he was mute for the first three years of him living with her, got quite the shock when one night he asked her very politely in Spanish, then Arabic, and finally in English if there was any more butter. MaryEllen is hoping garnering a spot on the Titan will give Cassius an outlet for his immense talents and help him with his lacking social skills.
